Occasionally, to keep up with my kids who insist on running up it. They just have not come to appreciate the lackadaisical enjoyment of an escalator. They treat the moving sidewalks at the airport the same away---to be a child!

I run up the down escalator to get exercise.

I like the moving walkway in the airport. I walk with it and pass the people not on it and pretend I have super abilities. Then it ends and I have to get off and I'm normal again.

Yup. I usually step down tho he he :) More fun to be going on a moving escalator if you can be on it longer :P My sis was scared to go down one time & then an old man took her hand & helped her down while we were @ da bottom. That was like 17 yrs ago or something. She's 22 now. He's prob not even alive now...

It's just too slow... what can I say? I don't if there's a lot of people on it; but the last time I went to the airport, I got on the one in the middle and booked a*s; but at the end, it almost did shove me onto my face. lol

sometimes if i'm in a hurry. it defeats the purpose of the escalator though

I used to at times ,but now my wife won't use them so I have to use the stairs or elevator with her.
