Its unlikely she will get the nomination as her fellow Democratic candidates for the nomination will eviscerate her with her past, such as Whitewater, Vince Foster's "suicide", what she knew as AG when her husband was sexually harrassing his employees when he was Governor. The Republicans won't have to fire a single salvo at her, her fellow partymen will eliminate her from competition. The Clinton's made more that the occassional enemy when they were in office, and many of the people they damaged are waiting for paybacks.

If Hillary were the nominee of the Democratic party, I would vote for her. Still, I hope she doesn't run and someone else will emerge who can take the White House in 2008. She's too polarizing a figure, and too risky a choice for the Democrats, who really need to wrest control of the White House away from the conservative Republicans. The Dems need a candidate who will not be controversial, and who can most likely win in 2008.

My favorites would be Mark Warner, Bill Richardson, and even Al Gore (who could pull off what Richard Nixon did in 1968).

i do no longer think of that this usa is waiting for a woman president. I do, besides the undeniable fact that, think of that sooner or later we would have a woman president, Hillary Clinton isn't the desirable one for the job. Now in case you had asked what i theory approximately Condoleezza Rice working for president...... i think of that Ms. Rice is one extraordinarily intelligent woman and would desire to do the job.

She'd be a very strong candidate and could beat just about anyone the Republicans could throw at her. However, all indications are that she apparently isn't going to run which is a shame since she'd be a good, if not great, president.

I think if there was any doubt as to whether we'd have a Republican win the presidency in 2008, Hillary Clinton running would destroy it.

As a sidenote, all of my military friends say they'd get out of the military and move to Canada if she won. That seems to be the general consensus.

Well first of all, if she succeeded, she would probably assume office as the result of an honest election or dispite a Repuke attempt to steal it from her. That alone puts her light years above Dumbya. But we can do better than Hill... way too right wing for me. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

I like the idea of a female president. But I don't know about Hillary. She is too moderate for me.

Yeah, sometimes I'm so liberal I scare even myself.

It is an ideal who's time has come. America is ready for a change, and personally I would love to see a woman in the white house. Anyone other than bush would be a blessing. It would be fantastic if the positions were filled by someone other than "good ole boys" who have their own agenda.

Senator Clinton has gone so far in the past few months to make changes to her stands in order to appear more electable. She voted for the war in Iraq and is now trying to distance herself from it. This type of inconsistency bothers me.
