I would give him the Stepford wife routine.
when he arrives home, look your hottest in a nice dress, heels, makeup, the works....
bring him his comfort shoes, slippers whatever, have him relax in his chair, hand him the remote, have supper or take out ready on the table and don't forget the "how was your day dear".
I guess make the evening about him.
men like to be pampered more than you think.

Use you imagination. Anything that you put abit of effort towards making him feel special "just cuz" is the best idea in my brain.
