It is neither good or bad to be pregnant at 13. IT is however good to be pregnant when you are financially secure, are in love, and can care for a child and yourself. It is only in America where having a child at a young age is severly frowned upon and look how F'd up this country is, it is definetly a contributing factor.
And for the people that are saying "what a shame" an "I blame the parents" need to think to themselves a bit more...Remember when you were 13? You were either mature for your age or ignorant and the people giving those answers were definetly ignorant. It's not your parents fault and it's not a shame. If you know, deep down inside that you want a baby and that you can handle to consequences and advantages later in life then more power to you. Good luck my dear.

If you have a period then getting pregnant can happen and some women do get a period while pregnant.... well, they spot...if you are having a period or are bleeding for any reason something may be wrong with the pregnancy you need to see your doctor...or at least go to planned parent hood with a friend and get checked out and make sure nothing is wrong.
And, no it is not normal...YOU SHOULD NOT BE HAVING SEX AT 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE STILL A CHILD!!! CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE HAVING CHILDREN!!!
Do you honestly think that you'll be a good parent? I suggest adoption...it'll let you grow up the way you were meant to and let your child have the up-bringing it can't have with a 13yr old child as a mother.
I'm sorry if this seems rude to you but everything in life isn't always nice and easy. You should think of the ramifications before you do something rash (like having sex at 13). If you can't make the right decisions when it concerns just yourself how do you expect to make good responsible decisions on behalf of your child?
I feel so sorry for you and hope and pray that everything goes well for you and that you grow up to have a bright and successful future...

What do u mean at 13, meaning 13yrs old or 13 weeks pregnant. If u are 13 weeks pregnant and u bleeding then that's not a good thing u need to see a doctor. But if you're 13 and pregnant then I'm not in a position to judge, but good luck, if not then go see a doctor. Because that's not a good sign.

Yes, if I were this person I'd see a doctor ASAP, even if it means going to the ER. At 13 your body is still too young to safely have a baby, just like if you're over 40 they get worried, some goes for someone who's 13. Good luck!

Many pregnant women experience bleeding during their pregnancy. If you think you may be pregnant, buy a pregnancy test at a local store. I think you can even buy them cheaply at the Dollar Store if you don't have enough allowance to afford the more expensive brands.
If you find out you AREN'T pregnant, consider it a sign. You are too young to be sexually active. That's not me being rude. That's me stating a fact (and facts by their definition can't be rude). Stop having sex and finish middle school. Sheesh.

Yes, it is normal for some people to be pregnant and still have their period. Good luck with everything, considering you are at a young age and you have not got to do a lot of things. I feel bad for you. I mean that from my heart, so please dont think that I am trying to be smart.

first off its bad for a 13 year old to get pregnant because you havent finished school second of all its bad because you are a child and a child shouldnt be taking care of a baby.. and its sometimes normal to bleed when your pregnant unless you got clots coming out or you have cramping or pain in your stomach with the bleeding please consult with your parents and a doctor you could be misscaring because your body isnt matter enough to be having a baby,

it is normal to still have your period and be pregnant, however it is NOT normal to be 13 yo and pregnant. do your parents know about this? if so you need to have them take you to the doctor. you could be at risk for some serious complications....

It is TERRIBLE to be pregnant at 13. Why weren't your parents paying any attention to you? People really should monitor their kids activities. I'm 17 and I turn 18 in a few days and I still inform my mama about my daily plans.

You should consult your OBGYN, not us. Your doctor knows your situation better than anyone. If you haven't got an OBGYN----------get one, as soon as possible! You can call an OBGYN's office and you should listen to the message that tells you what to do in the case of an emergency. You may be able to be contacted with an OBGYN on call. Do this now.
