Its possible to get rid of it, but not quickly. I have had it since I was 14. There is a gel that starts with the letter "c"....I forget what it is called but it does a great job clearing your skin up without drying it up. There is also something called "accutane." It is a 6 month treatment that supposed to last 7-10 yrs or a lifetime. People only have to get the treatment 2 times during their whole life. The docs won't put you on this right away-they want to test milder meds first, it has to be a dermatologists and it takes a while for them to even consider it because it is such a harsh drug. But if you bring it up, then I'm sure you guys can work towards it quicker. The reason I'm suggesting this is because I had acne all over the chest and back(really bad and all the time) and on my face. I did a 6 month stint of accutane and have never had acne on my chest or back since(the occasional pimple here or there but RARELY). My face was breakout free(compared to before with just a few pimples here and there that were barely noticeable) until just 2 years ago(which would have put me at the 7 yr mark since I took the medicine). I am probably going to give it another shot and see my skin clear up completely for good. If this stuff performed the miracles on my skin while I was a teenager, imagine what it can do for me now!!!!! hope this helps a little

My sister did it in 2 weeks by cutting out Dairy in her diet. You can substitute Goat dairy products if you want or rice milk (Rice Dream is yummy) - but stay away from soy for best results.

Peace!
