well i have a doctors appointment on the 17 but i wanted to know if it's safe to use monistat while pregnant the thing is i have never been diagnosed with a yeast infection and im not positive that im pregnant yet either but i think i might have a yeast infection and i think im pregnant as well but since im sure of either can i still use the monistat i mean all the symptoms of yeast infection are present except for the odor please help

Monistat is a benign medication with minimal systemic absorption properties. Although the manufacturer recommends waiting until the second or third trimester, it is probably safe to use at any point in the pregnancy. I know of many midwives and physicians who prescribe it even in the first trimester. I hope this helps.

well your doc will probably tell you no don't do it and he would write you a prescription for something (expensive monostat) but from my experience its safe
