Hi, - This is not exactly what you asked for,.. but if you are unsuccessful in finding pain relief from some form or remedy,... I can share with you here a powerful method for alleviating pain. ... The truth is however that this is something that requires your 'attention' and focus. ..... It is based upon a mind over matter principal and will provide you with relief to the extent that you are capable of concentrating your attention.

........ What you do is really quite simple,... yet not neccessarily easy,.. because it requires that you do the very opposite of what you have done all of your life in response to pain. ....
what you do is bring all of your attention right into the very center of the pain and keep it there. ... You observe and allow the pain to move and pulse or express itself in whatever way it does. ... The more you maintain your attention on the pain,.. you will observe that it will shift and change. It may initially expand a bit,.. but it will then change and eventually shrink in size to the point where it will very possibly even disappear. ............. Now I say "possibly",.. because if this pain you are experiencing is due to a physical problem,... such as an infection,.. obviously the infection is not going to go away simply by you shrinking the pain with your attention. ... In that sort of a situation,.. once you take your attention off of the pain,.. it will return again as your mind moves away from it.
..... However, you can shrink the pain again by once again focusing your attention on the very center of it and fully observing it.
This tool works with any sort of pain at all. You can make headaches (that you are not unconsciously invested in having), disappear by practicing this method. ... It is even possible for someone of exceptional ability to go through the likes of plastic surgery without any anesthetics through expert practice of this principal of mind over matter.

Try it for yourself,.. you have nothing to lose but your pain.

Try a warm compress and rub some orajel on it. I've even used diluted peroxide and swished it around in my mouth. I hope this will help. That's a long time to have pain from a root canal.

Ok, I know this will sound crazy, but it actually works. Put a clothes pin on your earlobe(the one that is on the same side as the tooth ache) until it stops hurting. If it starts back up, do it again! Its an old country remedy I learned from my granny!

try putting some turmeric powder on the tooth that is causing pain. then massage your gums with some oil-sesame oil is the best but you could do with any cooking oil in case of an emergency.further you could try putting a few drops of lukewarm sesame oil in both your ears. you' ll be relieved soon. but if none of these work -go to the dentist-do not hesitate.

Swish vodka around it (don't swallow it---unless you want to).
The alcohol will numb the nerves causing the pain.
