When you dont have lots of padding, and the hardest ball in sports (well, the common ones and pucks dont count) is coming at you at 95 mph and the difference between a homerun and a strikeout is a difference of a little more than an inch then yeah its definitely a leisure activity.

Lt. General Payback said it all. I also think people are tired of all the abuses by "professional" athletes. NASCAR has always taken a very hard-line stance against these abuses, and I think it's starting to raise some eyebrows. NASCAR is still fairly "pure". I know I lost interest in pro sports several years ago and I can personally blame that on the athletes.

Only if you learn to leisurly throw a ball 100+ mph.
Or leisurly hit a rock 400 feet.

you probably flinch when a ball comes your way pansy.
