What is the easiest way to edit an mp3? I have some mp3s that have extra junk on them I want to crop off the end or beginning. How does one do that?

I use a program called GoldWave. You can edit most audio formats. You can open an mp3, trim it, cut it up, any kind of audio and effects editing, then save it as an mp3 again. It does all the conversion for you. With a lot of software, you have to convert mp3 to wave, then edit it, then convert it back to mp3 again. Goldwave does it all for you. You can find it at http://www.goldwave.com and It is $50 CAN, or about $45 US.
Personally, I use the older version 4.26, find it here: http://www.goldwaving.com/downloads/gwave426.exe , and it does everything I need it to. If you want to register it, you can find serials out there, thats up to you. Good luck!

usually I stick songs into windows movie maker and then I split and crop out crap I don't want. then save. I don't know if you can put it directly on your mp3 player. I haven't tried cuz I don't have one. but it works for me. have fun.
