My baby is just sitting on my cervix waiting for me to dilate I am very uncomfortable and alls i want to do is sleep. I walk all the time I even took myself as far as getting on my hands and knees to mop the floor and that was no such luck either and suggestions that someone can give me about what they did to dilate are welcome...

when it came time for each of my three kids to be born I couldn't get anything to make it go faster....my MOTHER told me to try sex...believe it or not - it worked. Thank God my husband is a patient man...lol I also cleaned my house from top to bottom, including the laundry.

Walking a lot will help. So will intercourse. At least, that's what worked for me. My water broke before I started to dialate. On the way to the hospital, I was in a car wreck and never started to dialate due to shock. I ended up having a c section anyway.

most hospitals arent going to take you until your 4 or more cm dialted, take warm baths and walk a lot

Have you been to your dr? You must get in contact with him/her and get checked. Don't wait.
