I've already replaced the flasher unit NO dice. Someone told me to replace a relay. Where would the relay be??

Sounds like the turn signal switch is bad. Unfortunately, to get the switch out, you usually have to pull the steering wheel, and on airbag equipped vehicles, this can be a big operation. Sounds like it's time to take it to a trusted mechanic or dealer. Good luck

There is NO relay. Did you check the emergency flashers? Are they on instead of the turn signals? If not, and the flasher is still flashing, are the outside turn signal lights flashing? What happens when you remove the fuse for the turn signals? And the 4-way fuse? Does everything stop working?
If so, it is time to replace the combo switch.

I have the same problem in mine, No the emergency flashers are not on, I can turn them on an off without and change to this clicking sound. Yes it sounds just like when the turn signals are on, goes for awhile then eventually turns off. (the sound,again the lights are not flashing at this point)
