Look for a tire that has a treadwear rating of at least 400, teperature "A" and traction "A". The tires have these ratings on the sidewall, ask the retailer to show you these ratings. You always want the best traction and no less than a "B" rating on temperature. "A" is the best rating for both traction and temperature, "B" is the next best and "C" is the lowest. As always keep the tire iar pressure at the recomended pressure and get an alignment on your car when you install the new tires. This will make sure your tires last you a long time, otherwise you will buy new tires in 6 months.
As far as brands, Michelin, Cooper, & Dunlop are of the top tier. Do your shopping at different tire locations. Wholesale discounters like Costco, BJ's and Sams Club offer decent prices.
Good Luck

i know you arent going to try and race with a camry, so just go with any standard tries you can find at the discount rack at your local car shop. they should do the job nicely. if you are trying to get some performance from the car,... well, hehehehehehehe, let's just say, that seems pretty ridiculous

For ANY vehicle, I always recommend Goodyear for performance, or Michelin for longevity and a quiet ride. Those are the two absolute BEST. You might pay a little more for those brands, but you definitely get your money's worth.
