Dark Matter is theorized to explain that by "counting up" all the visible stars in a galaxy, there is not enough mass to account for its rotation rate. For example by measuring the speed of a star on the edge of a galaxy (using doppler shift) there is not enough mass in the rest of the galaxy to hold it in its orbit. So it was theorized that there must be more mass that we cannot see.

Dark Energy is an invention to explain why the universe is expanding at the rate that observations show that it is.

dark matter is something about the gravitational something of the universe thats off for the amount of matter that we have found out there and so astronomers say there is more matter but we just can't see it because it doesn't emit light or electromagnetic radiation..and they call it dark matter...however i cannot tell you what dark energy is...but probably something along thoses same lines...

Dark matter is a negative energy molacule almost at manesfastation.dark energy is what ever you want it to be.Focus and squeeze then take a deep breath hold it and release slowly listen to the caughs.then let it set in .You will feel it as it truely is.who says it entirelly all that bad?not i
