Are you happy, or sad, or both, or just confused?

To me it means that I can see the absurdity in the situation and also the the pain at the same time. So many things in life are not understandable. Nor are they just. If we are to focus on the humor only, then we have no compassion. If we focus on the pain only, then we have no sanity. To maintain sanity and compassion, we have to both laugh and cry. The important part to remember is the priorities in which you place your reactions. You must laugh, you must cry, but your own morality will determine when which is the appropriate response.

I think it's happy and sad in different cases.

When something is seriously hilarious, you laugh so hard your tears come running. When you are so miserable to the point you feel that your pathetic situation is foolish and ironic, you just laugh bitterly.

When I'm confused I just frown. I can't see how you can laugh and cry.

Yeah. it rather is a peculiar and wonderful feeling too. The final time I did it, i became on the dentist's place of work and that i became getting a Novocaine shot in my mouth and it harm so freakin' undesirable that i began out to cry, then i began out to chortle approximately how undesirable it harm. i understand that sounds loopy, "chortle approximately how undesirable it harm," yet I do this frequently with soreness. Do you ever do this? And by "that" I mean chortle and cry on the comparable time.

What happened to cause this reaction? What are you feeling inside? The tears are just a consequence- only you know how you feel about something.

It means you are overcome by emotion and you can't stop it from all just coming out. People around you should recognize how vulnerable you are at these moments and not take advantage of your condition.
