Need a wireless PC router that will not interfere, at all, with our 2.4 gigahertz Panasonic cordless phones. We have a single story home and all phones will be used on same level. Thanks much.

Yes, you need a Wireless A router - they aren't sold much though... check e-bay for 802.11a. And you'll need a Wireless 802.11a compatible network card.

802.11a uses 5 GHz. You can also try changing the channel settings -- cordless phones tend to use the lower-numbered channels, microwave ovens cause static on the higher-numbered channels. I've found channel 4 is usually enough to avoid interference with/from cordless phones.

instant b and g are very liable to interference. The later instant n (that's in simple terms a derivation of a) isn't. Its lots extra high priced, yet fullyyt diverse frequency and your cellular telephone should not be a worry. That stated, its nevertheless unusual to have consistent cellular telephone interference with g.

I have a motorola G, and I have two 2.4ghz phones, one Uniden and one GE, have had no problems since buying the phones several months ago. Have also used Linksys rounter with the Uninden phone without problems.
