Second Question: Did the chess piece move at the end, and if it did, does that mean "the cure" was only temporary?

Under negotiations but Hallie Berry wants out

It moved and that means that the cure will be treated as a virus by the people who took it and that their mutant antibodies will destroy it in time. It still makes them succeptable to the cure himself but not to his serum.

Let's say for now there won't be an X4 and yes "the cure" was temporary meaning that both Magneto and Rogue in the movie will get their powers back if there's another X-men movie.

X4 if it exists would likely focus on the younger ones.
Magneto and Wolverine movies are both in the works.

If Leech's ability only works based on proximity then it is safe to assume that once the injection has time to metabolize it could easily be purged from the system after a while. Since most Mutations are mentally based,(speciallized TK) if the mutant never tries to use their power they may never know if its back until a Fight or Flight situation.

As for an X4, I don't know - they said this would be the last one.

The chess piece didn't move - I've actually freeze framed it at the end to see if it moved (hoping against hope, I suppose), but no - he's just trying...
