Do you use " when I am gone" or "when I have gone"?? What do those sentences mean and could you explain the different between those sentences, if there's any different?

When I am gone can be used - people usually use it though to talk about the time after they have died and what will hapeen then.
For Example
When I am gone you will inherit this house and all the things in it.
When I have gone is used to talk about when you have left somewhere.
Might be best to say "after I have left".

or
when I have gone to the library, it is very quiet.

when i am gone.....use command (fragment phrase at the beginning of a sentence
EX: when i am gone, clean your room.
When i have gone....
EX: when i have gone to the mall, i usually spend too much money.

"When I am gone" is what I use, mostly, depending on what you are trying to say.
The dog likes to bark when I am gone. - You are gone.
The world will be a much better when I have gone. - You will be gone.

you use the phrase "when i am gone "meaning that after your demise.ex.when i am gone you be kind to your brother.but the phrase 'when i have gone' does not exsist. you use 'after i have left' meaning going somewhere.

don't know if both are correct, but if I were to be graded on my grammar, I would play it safe and use HAVE
