when you die do you think you will go to a place called heaven? Are you sure that some book is correct? Could it have been a book of fairy tales? Doesn't seem strange that we all hope that this one book is correct and we fallow what it says? I hope there is a after life but surely we all will find out sometime after all there is no way out of this world alive.

When we die, we are dead. The Bible says that the dead are "sleeping" which means they are unaware, in a sense, of what is going on. I do not think we go to heaven as soon as we die. Heaven is later, if you read Revelation in the Bible...we are taken there when Christ comes again

When I die, I know I will go to Heaven. And yes, the bible is the most "correct" book ever made. No, It isn't a book of fairy tales, It's a book of truth, a roadmap for this curvy road we're on, called life. You shouldn't "hope" that "this one book" is "right", you should have faith, and know that it is. Heaven is as real as the world we live in right now, so put your faith and trust in God, and believe without doubt. Because with it, you might not make it to Heaven.. Read John 3:16 my friend. God bless and be with you.

Yes, there is a heaven. We all have a purpose here on earth and we will be happy in the next life if we do the best we can here. There are some parts of the Bible that are confusing, so it can be misleading. You should pray to know what is correct. Try reading the Book of Mormon in addition to the Bible. I highly recommend it.

I gave up on this "God thing" a long time ago. Too many contradictions and too many 'Sunday Christians' being 'Monday screw everybody' types.

BTW, I am not anti religion. Anything that gives someone any degree of comfort can't be all bad. All I ask of those who live their faith is to stay away from my front door.

Have a good day.

Even if it is a myth. It seems that people who truly follow the concepts and philosophies of that book, lead satisfied lives. If all of their living was for a lie, what harm did it cause anyone? If it is true; (I believe it is), then there is great gain.

Truth or not, I'm happy to live by it.

You know I question that all the time. What if all that we are taught to believe in is non-existent. What if there is no heaven or hell. I can't help but question all that. I really don't know if there is a God.

I think religion is based on the desire to live forever. Deists should ask themselves: Would they occupy church pews if there was no promise of an afterlife?

Yet they claim it is "for the love of God". I think churches would be mostly empty if ministers started saying 'there's no afterlife, but god wants you to love him anyway'.
