if you were waiting for a ride from your mom and all these somolians were fighting and a teacher had to break them of. would you continue to wait. would i be found not guilty i was the one waiting. do i have to be friends with the somolians.

What does someone else's fight have to do with you? Of course I would continue to wait for my mother, otherwise when she arrived she would get worried. You can continue to be friends with whoever you want to.
