I've always made the mistake of discovering just the website I needed and was looking for and not writing the website down or saving it, and I was never able to find them again. Just recently someone told me that your computer keeps track of the websites you visit, AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER "HISTORY." HOW can I find this list??????????????

Well unless your computer is logging that information into a file, it should only be in the Temp/History folder. This would be news to me.

I'm not sure this is the answer you're looking for, but, when I begin to type in a search all the sites that begin with that letter that I've visited pops up. And of course there's the history you mentioned. Other than that I don't know. I'm not a computer whiz at all.

the list is stored in the Index.bat file in your cookies and temporary internet files folders. It's not deletable - it's protected as a system file. It's also not readable - it's mostly for security pro's to track nasty users. Not much help for you, I'm afraid!

good luck -

That's the only way I know. But as far as finding it again try storing
the website in your favorites on your menu bar, it is SO MUCH
EASIER that way. Good Luck.

IE history keeps your web surfing history for up to 3 weeks...and, i guess you could say cookies too...but other than that, no, there's nothing else that records your history
