I'd say Bruce Springsteen, without a doubt, for the talent in his song-writing, he's inspired so many other artists like The Killers and Badly Drawn Boy to become musicians. He also puts on the best value for money show that you could ever see, in his '50s now and he still puts on a show for 3hrs+. Also, a lot of his songs have been covered by other artists which, I guess, is the true compliment to a musical genius.

The Beatles. It has been 40 years or so and they are still not forgotten. They are known World Wide and people of all ages can relate to their music. Their music is timeless. No other band will ever recreate Beatlemania. As far as solo performer, all I have to say is Elvis Presley.

Probably the Beatles, if you go by album sales and impact on music. Though the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Queen all have claim of a piece of the cake ...

Technically I would go for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. They are all good at what they do and fit the music together well. My favourite band is MXPX but I wouldn't class them as a good band in terms of playing ability.

Yngwie Malmsteen Eluveitie till Lindemann (Rammstein's album 'Sensucht' truly spelled his call incorrect, too. They spelled it Lidermann. How undesirable is that?!) Dimmu Borgir Flake (from Rammstein. that's suggested FLAH-kuh, no longer Flake) Amon Amarth Kirk Hammett (i visit't allow you to understand ways many cases i have heard him said as Kurt)
