my pc is fast enough for games but i think the video card is letting it down?
my pc is
AMD AM2 3800+ CPU
1GIG OF RAM 4200 533MHZ
200GIG HDD WESTERN DIGITAL
BUT I STILL GET A SLIGHT JERKING ON SOME GAMES EVERY NOW AND THEN? NOT SURE WHAT COULD CASUE THIS?
MY CURRENT VIDEO CARD IS A NVIDIA GEFORCE 6500 256MB
OR IF ANYONE HAS ONE FOR SALE LET ME KNOW.

What makes you think its the graphics card at fault? It could well be that a back ground application is running or that a piece of software is trying to access the internet. Also when was the last time you did a scan for spyware. Do you have the latest video drivers installed? Do you have the latest direct X installed? Not all things have a straight forward answer. Don't rush into getting a new card until you are absolutely sure this is the problem. To be honest i don't think the card is the problem but it maybe the visual symptom of an underlying fault which needs investigated and resolve only then spend more money. I hope that helps.

To the above answerer, IT IS THE CARD. Now I am not saying that you might not have some other problems like the one he mentioned, but that card will have problems running some of the newer games. As far as what card to get, that all depends on how much money you wanna spend, and also how big your power supply is. If you can email me with an answer to these questions I can help you find a card.
