I am a MtF transsexual and I am kind of on the big/healthy side-

I am very muscular, but not the big bulgy, veiny kind- more like smooth, compact muscles like a dancer or a swimmer would have. (I am also very curvy).

I am also tall- 6 feet tall in bare feet. I have a broad chest due to a large ribcage, and I just don't think average sized, B or C cups would look right on me- I would look like a male with a hormonal problem.

Also, I have experimented with different bra sizes and I am most happy with DD or DDD/F sized breasts- they don't look all that big on my large frame.

I don't think I would be happy with smaller implants, so I want to just go straight to the bigger implants from the get go.

Please- any women who have had large implants- I would like to hear from you. Did you go through the same thought process and evaluation of what you wanted?

Because of your large frame, I can see why you want the larger implants. But - how much can your skin stretch to accomodate this large size? Have you ever watched Dr. 90210 on tv and seen the problems they have trying to get a C implant into a small-chested girl? It sounds like you need to talk to a couple of different plastic surgeons, and get some professional opinions. You may have to start out with a B, and then after a couple of years when your skin has stretched out, upgrade to the larger size. Good luck.

From a female with natually large breasts, you might want to consider a few more things than just looks. I don't know how much implants weigh, but my DD breasts are heavy and cause back aches. Also, it is difficult to find bras that provide proper support. I suspect that will be more important for you right after the sugery to avoid complications. My back aches are getting so bad that I am considering breast reduction surgery. I am only 5'7" but I have shoulders more broad than most females. I look just fine with DD and will probably look kind of funny with smaller breasts, but the pain is getting to be impossible.

Your hormone treatments should soften your musculature and I would suggest having breasts that are average rather than large. What you will be adding isn't socks stuffed in a bra, these breast will have weight. Bigger the breasts the more weight. If you have very large ones added over time the weight will cause them to sag and you will have to wear a bra to even sleep in. The shoulder straps will cut into your shoulders and you'll be very uncomfortable. You might try filling plastic baggies with water and putting those in your bra to see what the weight feels like. I don't think that going from zero to Pamella Anderson is a "good" move.

Look, realistically you cannot go from a AA cup or A cup to a DDD/F cup. For the first operation, you can hope to be a B or C. No doctor worth his credentials will make you that big in one operation. Plus, I cannot see it looking natural, unless you want the stripper type boobs, but personally I find them distasteful. HTH : )
