They will both try for the oscar but it is not recommended to put a PET fish with a turtle anyway. Turtles need to have their tank cleaned frequently like you do. But all the changes will stress out the oscar after a while since he will never be truely acclimated to the water in the tank. Sorry. If you dont clean the tank frequently then bacteria may build up in the tank and start putting out high amounts of ammoia which can also kill the oscar. If you love your fish don't do it. Being full grown I imagine he is at least 15 inches long and you have had him for a while. Get a 75 to put him and some others in with him. I wouldn't take chances like that. Sorry dude sounds cool but reality is it won't work.

I would say that the safe bet would be not to put any of them together. While a full grown Oscar is pretty large, I would say generally the turtle will still make an attempt and may succeed in killing the fish. Ditto, with the Snapping Turtle, the snapper would be more likely to succeed the larger it gets. Also, as the the snapper continues to grow, the RES would most likely end up with missing limbs and possibly even get killed.

It's a nice thought, but not worth the risk I would think.

Snapper trumps. It will eat anything it can grab, or just annoy it.

RES and Oscar will try to kill each other- hurting fins and feet, harassing each other while asleep, etc.

Besides- they all want different things out of life. It is irresponsible to try to force such different creatures into a tank.
