URL and picture have no relationship.
Just like your undies and the drawer you place them in for storage have no relationship. But the analogy is the same.

The url is the web address of where the image is being hosted. You need to have a picture hosted on a web site or image host. The image will have a web address, or url. The myspace site will access the url to display the image.

A common url for a picture ends in .gif or .jpeg. If you want to find the address to a picture you find on the internet, right click on the picture and select "View Image" or something similar. You should be taken right to the image and can copy the url from the url bar.
