I am an ex who still sees my ex wife nearly every day. Just because you two have been divorced it is not required for you to hate him the way many people seem to think. If friends give you a hard time you can invite them to mind their own business or simply explain that you don't have to hate him. Sex is not a requirement either. My ex is still my best (and most trusted) friend I have. We still have lots of things in common and we still do things together, we just don't live in the same house. She has dated other men which was a little something I had to deal with but I was able to accept that eventually.
Be friends and don't let other people make your decissions for you two when it comes to YOUR relationship!

It is alright to love your ex husband. Guess the love will always be there since you two have shared lives at one point of time.
However, the question you need to ask yourself is, if ever you two get back together, will you be able to live with him again? Certainly there must be a critical decision as to why you two decided to be divorced in the first place. If getting back together means you are able to live with that critical reason or reasons, then by all means make the effort to get back together without having fears in getting hurt all over again.

Its worth a shot dont you think esp since you both love each other. Relationships have ups and downs. Its up to both of you to make it work and nothing is 100% or perfect. If you're both scared of the same thing (getting hurt), then work towards not hurting each other. If you guys married each other.. it means a lot i mean getting married is a big deal he was worth it thats why you married him. make it work if you want but be prepared if you guys dont end up together

You are playing a game that you can NOT win. If he is your ex, he is that for a reason. You either need to get back together, or part for good. This playing around is not good. Somebody is going to get hurt real bad, all over again, if you continue.

go to couseling, see if it will work, date around first and if your still in love and counsling went ok..........go for it.
