i think it was BAC21T so it spelled bac 2 it (back to it) the car reg was used in the uk in the town of spennymoor that was where the owner of the car lived and it was over 20 years ago now

The DeLorean time machine is a licensed, registered vehicle in the state of California. While the vanity license plate used in the film says "OUTATIME", in real life the DeLorean's actual license plate reads 3CZV657.

I think I'm right in saying that the car is at the Beaulie (is that how you spell it?) car museum and its still got the "OUTATIME" reg plate on it.

The reg of the car in back to the future was outatime and it was on a Californian plate
