I understand what you are going thru. My husband and I served during Desert Storm. It was the hardest thing to see his ship leave for the Middle East.
I wrote to him everyday...it put me in my own world. I sent him a box of stationary and a diary. He would write in the diary and send it to me. I would then write in it and send it back.
Just know that he is protecting us....and that is the most honorable thing a person could do. It's hard to be apart. I will be honest and say that it won't be the easiest time but he will be alright. He's a brave man for serving so many times in Iraq and he has my complete and total respect as well as you for having to deal with his being gone.
If you are a religious person....pray....if you aren't then just think of him everyday.

Consider also that if the Democrats manage to get their man into the White House, we will bring our soldiers back at home MUCH sooner than if we continue with these war-mongering idiots we have at the moment. My uncle is over there, and we are going to bring him back to us safe and sound and as soon as we can. If the only way to do that is to replace this administration with one that actually gives a damn about REALLY supporting the troops, then so be it.

If he had survived in the 5 previous experiences, he'll surely survive this 6th one, and the subsequent ones as well. Ask him to communicate with you at any time possible for him to do so. I know it's not easy but he can try. Hearing his voice will give you solace more than anything else. Take heart and be yourself, I know it's a trying moment for you. Cheers!

Your husband's a brave man, a hero. What he's doing making you, us safe. Because of him we can get on YAHOO, go shopping, laugh, smile, etc... Just know in your heart he'll be back. Each time a better man, a husband. This would make you a better wife. If he pictures you crying and sad, it make him a weaker man. Be proud, like he is and just make yourself a much better person for him when he does come home. Bless you & him.
