It's a nominal fee to keep the site free and also for them charge those who plan to use the site to download music for websites and commercial use(DJs). I don't use it because it caused my laptop to crash and I had a shitload of viruses and spyware(which I am still trying to get rid of) on my harddrive and it got so bad I had to reload AOL on my computer since the spyware made it damn near impossible for me to do anything. My suggesstion is to try Bear Share.

you have the wrong limewire then and by the way limewire your donwload more then free ,music/movies /software/ pc games/ what will come with your downloads is virus/trojans/spyware then your pc will crash down to the floor and your have to pay to have it fixed that cant be from $100+ then your ask your self was it really free its best if you dont have limewire. and ignore them who say they never had a virus from limewire coz they have and they have had trojans as well they just say they never coz they want free downloads but there pc is so f++ked up they have to keep reseting it up let them have the pc problem why should you do what they do dont use limewire

have u try www.frostwire it free and does the same as lime wire no spyware and limewire is still free but be careful some downloads has spyware and tracker prog hidden in it...or try www.shareaza.com it also free or google it ...good luck

"Nº1 mp3 search" is a better free music downloader. It's a 30 day trial. when it runs out.... Back up your computer, reformat than reinstall "Nº1 mp3 search". no pay!
