i love baseball, i played it for over 18 years, i am just saying that some people here, especially yank fans think that the world revolves around it and if they don't win life is over , and there are many pressing issues at hand

Baseball is about the most unimportant thing in the universe.

If you want to 'relax' your mind, try reading; and NEVER watch the news. It's all staged to invoke emotion, not reason.

It's very easy to not like baseball. It is boring, overblown, and stolen from an English game.

Actually, I'm 45 and understand WAY more than you ever will.

I'll take you up on that offer. Where do I send my expense sheet? After all, since you're so smug as to offer up an ALL-EXPENSES paid trip.

I fly first class, and only stay in first class hotels while overseas. If one is not available due to the living conditions in Darfur, I will happily buy the needed tent and survival equipment.

Have no fear, I should be able to keep the expenses under $100,000 for the month. Please send the money ahead of time, as I have no desire to use my credit cards to pay for a trip that you have already agreed to pay for.

Is baseball really that important? As compared to what? As compared to the people still living in trailers in Louisianna? (NO)As compared to trading Pokemon cards? (YES)

Is it important in comparison to being a snot nose asking insulting questions on the internet?

If Darfur and the genocide going on there is so important to you, why not write to your Congressman, as opposed to using your time trying to incite people by ridiculing what they value?

Baseball is important to many. There are those whose livlihoods depend upon the commerce directly or indirectly surrounding baseball. I dare say that baseball is VERY important to them.

Are you refering to the SPORT of baseball? The commercial endeavor known as baseball? Are you wondering about the Major Leagues, Minor Leagues? What about semi-pro or pony league?

Some people have very stressful lives and truly do NEED to an outlet with which to relax. I would think that if their choice of relaxation that baseball is quite important to them as well.

It certainly is NOT important enough to get into a fist fight over. It's not important enough to have a Dodger fan shoot a Giants fan in the parking lot after the game.

Then again, it's not important what shoes, or what logo I wear. Yet kids get killed in America over such things.

How is Darfur any MORE important than the situation in North Korea, or Iran? How is your "pet" world issue any more important than suffering going on anywhere else in the world? (You know... all the situations that you, on your high-and-mighty intellectual trip flat out ignored.)

You're a cretin, and a bore.

No, I don't hate you. You're NOT that important.

So, when can I expect the check for my VACATION?

If you hate baseball so much, why don't YOU move to Darfur then? We don't need your high and mighty, judgemental, greater than though, self-righteous garbage.

People world-wide value not necessarily sport, but competition. Competition is what makes mankind succeed.
