Banned in America? Of course not. Maybe in the Middle East where Islam forbids the eating of ham/pork.

Why would it be banned? The grocery stores all sell ham. My hotels have ham on the menu.

Ham is most definatly NOT banned. I know because I ate some this morning. Ham is delicious!
