To be honest Graham Norton is on tv too much and although I don't dislike him I'm not interested in any comment he has too make.

I don't exactly find it surprising to be honest. What did make me laugh though was the comments made by the National Drug Prevention Alliance...

"We're appalled, it's absolutely mind-blowing that somebody has said that. He's in the public eye and influencing young people, so who is it helping? I don't know - I'm just staggered."

Appalled...yes fair enough, they do stand against it...but staggered?? C'mon seriously? So the guy was honest, I applaud him for it. We all know that it goes on. We all know that the majority of our b and c list celebrities spend the majority of their time drugged up to their eyeballs and falling in and out of clubs...so who cares if one of them has actually been honest for a change?

In my eyes it just makes the guy more approachable.

A lot of celebrities do things behind closed doors that we don't know about, but when it comes out - George Michael, Michael Barrymore to name a few, people look at them differently. We the public are'nt naive but we come accustomed to the way our celebrities act and when they do something outragous, we look upon them differently,

I think he is right to say ecstacy is fun, it is! Of course drugs are good to take, why else would people take them?
As to the Anti drug PPL getting into a self righteous moral lather about him saying that, I presume they would rather have him lie and say that drugs are awful to take. He is right to say drugs are enjoyable, they are. He did not say everyone should take them, he only said that they are fun.

i think what he does in his private life is up to him, but it is really irresponsible of him to have made the kinds of remarks he did, knowing that he is in the public eye and that there will be people who will be influenced by him and look up to him. i know that people are responsible for making their own choices but it was still a silly thing to do.
