To convert something into a percentage you need to know or be able to calculate the figure for the whole.
Your question does not offer enough information. To convert the whole of time into a percentage you would need to know when it started and when it ended and I doubt even Steven Hawkings would attempt that one.
Percentages are simply hundredths of a whole. Half of the whole is 50% etc.
Decide what the whole time frame is that you are working with then divide it by 100 and work from there.

Same way as you convert anything into a percentage. Divide the amount of time by the total you want it to be a percentage of and multiply by 100. e.g. 30 seconds as a percentage of a minute= (30/60)*100= 50%

Depends what scale you are using. If you are working in hours and minutes, 60 mins is 100% so divide 100 by 60 to find how many percent of an hour 1 minute is. Then just multiply, for example, by 20 to find how much percentage of an hour 20 mins is. Hope this helps

you've not been very clear about exactly what you mean-if it's minutes as a % of an hour place over 60 and multiply by 100/1 same with seconds as a% of a minute-to turn hrs into a % of a day place over 24 and multiply by 100/1. It's easier on a calculator eg 20 mins as a % of ah hour do 20 divided by 60 and multiply yoyr answer by 100---foreg 18hrs as a fraction of a day do 18 divided by 25 and multiply your answer by 100

Multiply the minutes by 100 and divide by 60 will give you a% figure of an hour. Eg. 9 mins. 9x100=900. 900/60 = 15. =15%

Easy answer...minutes over 60 times 100 to get % . minutes
hours ovre 24 for % hours
or easier way if you have a calultor with D M S on it you can enter in time directly and work with it. for example 2 1/2 hour plus 40 mins, minus 73min 46 secs.......
