well, look. If most ,even if only one of ur team mates, is ur friend, it'll be easy and okay, I garuntee u, because I'm now playing in my school's Basketball team, I'm about to reach 17 in Nov., means still 16 like you and I have friends in the team. Start playing and give it ur best shot. If u haven't got any friend or you don't know anyone in the team, you'll get accomodated to the situation and will make new friends because the real aim of teams is "team work". You'll have new friends. OK.Good luck.....

I think it might be difficult making the team, but anything is possible (especially if you have some experience playing, but never played formally on a team - maybe just at school or with neighborhood kids). Please note that although you're 16 years old and never been on team... some of the people on the team right now that you want to get on have been playing since they were 5 years old (playing Little League and various other teams).
If you're willing to put everything you got and dedicate some time, I think anything is possible (especially if you're natural athletic and can pick up any sport pretty easily).

It depends if you are fit and fast and all and are dedicated to the game. But yes, you do have a good chance to start now because you build muscel and strength the more you play in you teen years. So yes, you do.

It will be very hard. Not only do many of the coaches know the players you don't have much experience. You might do well though, just practice and give it your best. Good luck.

depends on how willing u are to work hard, and if you think you'll be alright with the fact that u might possibly be the worst player on the team
