Indonesians will not stop the burning so the only option is for Malaysia to seed the clouds and help make it rain (this is done all the time in other counties for crops). But it is only a temporary fix until the burning stops. Therefore - there is nothing anyone will do until the burning stops!

the problem is that the HAZE doesn't originated from Malaysia, its from Indonesia our neighboring country. We or our government can only offer assistant to Indonesia if only they are willing to accept, in putting off the haze or bush fire, n we can't tell them what n how they should do ! The only thing Malaysia can do is cloud seeding to bring in the rain but this is so call fire fighting not prevention, n its only a temporary solution n cost us money for something we have no direct control over !

Ever heard the expression, "you scratch my back, I scratch yours?" Obviously our Indonesian counterpart didn't live up to their bargain on this.
I heard that corruption is rampant over there making the haze situation impossible to curb.
This is a collaborative effort required by all countries affected by the haze in order to step up and enforce strict actions.

This is the best dry season for Indonesia to start their burn and slash method and the cheapest most effective way. It is not possible to stop these hard poor indonesians as they are so poor and really need money to survive and are either farmers or employed to do this burning and paid some money. The Sumatra forest is really so vast and huge and even bigger than our neighbouring countries .......

Now it seems like seasonal for haze. Indonesia government just telling us that they do not manage to control their jungle fire and we as neighbor country what can we do? Only heavy rains can help.

there is one thing Malaysia can do.
charge Indonesia for whatever our loses. bring the case to international court, sue them, make their govt pay the price.

if we do that, the Indon govt will start seriously look into the open burning matter and stop their people from open burning. because whatever their people burn, their givt have to pay. this will make sure their govt start to do something if they don't want keep paying for what their people do.

sadly, our govt don't do that just because our govt love their 'stupid brother' tooooooooooo much that our govt willing to sacrifice Malaysian's own health.

i just want to ask: who will pay all the medical bills if the cancer rate increase suddenly in 20-years time? will Indon govt of Malaysian govt pay?

we help Indon when tsunami happened. but now, do they think of us?
