It's all due to their simplistic way of thinking..
Lump them all together and you can attack everyone of them..
Dont lump them together, and then you have to address each point, and counterpoint it..and that's a lot of work for a simpleton.

here they are on parade

Why do people say things like this? I will never understand blanket insults. They are useless and fruitless. Do you really think like every other Republican out there or do you have a mind of your own and think for yourself? If you are serious about your question, then the answer would HAVE to be NO! You would not be able to pick out your clothes in the morning, decide what to eat or to perform any daily functional processes, because you would HAVE to check with your political party to figure out how to do those things. After all your question clearly shows that you believe in the 'all or nothing' mentality. The real question should be, "When are WE (the people of the United States) going to hold people responsible for what they do and say when holding a position of power in representing the people of the US?" Now that would be a question that needs to be answered. Put your party thinking aside and look at the big picture and you will be surprised. (BTW - I do not hold to political party thinking, so before everyone jumps all over this as a Liberal or Dem statement, I should tell you that you would be wrong because I vote for whoever I think is my best candidate regardless of party preference).

Repubicans also do the same kind of procedure, grouping dems and liberals around Nacy Pelosi or Ted Kennedy.

Aside from being lazy (not bothering to look at moderate dems like Ellen Tauscher), it serves no real purpose for either party.

Remember, at this critical juncture in American Politics, the party has become the overriding concern, not what is best for the nation.

And if you want real answers to your questions, you cannot frame it like it was a personal attack, ignoring what the other side does wrong as well.

No, the Republicans weren't nicer to Hillary than the Democrats are to Palin. From Day One, the Republicans knew that they had an articulate, nicely spoken adversary interior the White domicile. As bill Clinton suggested on Election night, 1992, the country have been given '2 for the cost of one.' The criminal charges the Clintons incurred and the investigations. Palin in many situations makes use of the word 'frivolous' in describing the costs made against her, nicely in Hillary's case, they have been 'witch hunts.' Palin complained approximately $500K in criminal costs, nicely that parent pales in assessment to Mrs. Clinton's. I observed one parent of $4 million from 1998 and that replace into until now the president's impeachment trial.

Wow first of all you do an amazing job of grouping all democrats together. Jesus right you really want an honest answer to this. You do the same thing everyone else does ask questions to get a rise out of people, ask questions that are just statements with question marks at the end.
Where did a democrat say all republicans are sick pervs just because one man is.
So you cant even answer your idiotic question with one of your kind going aha! I knew it! Its what you are after congratulations!!

Speaking for myself, I don't group anyone with Foley. Gay and pedophile are very different things. I don't hold Foley against the Republican Party as I think it is an election season ploy. Anyone who knew about Foley (if its true) should go to jail--Dems and Repubs alike.

You've been unkind yourself, sir.

Bleeding Hearts, Cut and Runners, Baby Killers, Terrorists etc. You neocons do a fine job at the art of sterotyping as well.

You conservatives are also very much guilty of this practice, calling all liberals "commies" or accusing them all of hating America. Or calling enivironmentalists "wackos". I could go on forever with all the ways conservatives do stereotyping.

Get off the high horse. You have no business being up there.

well Lt. the libs have glomed on to something to run on...God knows it is all they have...i would rather see them focus on what's going on in the world affairs today...they cannot do this....so...they are trying to keep Foley in the news...and it is unraveling as we speak...Dem's always try to expose things and end up exposing themselves...no pun intended...well
