As long as nothing bizarre happens, Schumacher will win. He'll stay behind Massa until the first round of pit stops when he will suddenly become really quick and will appear out of the pits in the lead, never to be caught again!

Of course, if the stewarding were not biased, Massa would have been penalised for blocking Alonso during Q3 and we would see a much fairer race - although I believe that Schumacher would still win!!!

DarkBunny - Ferrari would never allow Massa to beat Schumacher, unless something happens to the German and he retires or is so far down the pack Massa couldn't help him.

Namaste. I have to bite my tongue here and say Schumacher v1.0 is in the catbird seat when it comes to the Japanese Grand Prix. However, Alonso should be ready to pounce if Schumacher v1.0 has a hiccup with his Ferrari, then he (Alonso) would be in the catbird seat going into the final race of the season.

Based upon what we have seen so far this weekend at Sukuka, the Bridgestone tyres performed better than the Michelins in dry conditions, therefore if it doesn't rain tomorrow, a Bridgestone equipped team is more likely to win, and the fastest Bridgestone team is Ferrari. And we all know in a race so important for the driver's championship as tomorrow's, Ferrari will not allow Massa to win if Schumi is right behind him.

Toyotas have impressed, but everybody thinks they qualified with low fuel, and besides having the better Bridgestone tyres this weekend, they haven't proven much in a race yet, so I don't see them as winners.

So, in the dry Shumi will win.
In the rain, it is a lottery, but Alonso has a great chance then.

Schumacher has to be favourite unfortunately. It is Bridgestones home track, and an all Ferrari front row. One thing is for sure, Ferrari won't get their team tactics wrong like Renault did last week. Massa will probably hold everyone up while Schumacher dissapears into the distance.

Moron Schumacher will probably crash, either in a lapped driver or in his brother. No idea about Massa, but I hope that Alonso and Fisichella sail through and get rid of trouble, and finish ahead of the Ferraris. I don't mind if a Toyota wins, but I'll be p*ssed if a Ferrari finishes ahead of the Renaults.

I think Alonso will, Schumacher will lead from about the 3rd lap onwards until the 37th lap and then have a engine problem and have to retire handing the championship to Alonso even though he didn't deserve it.

I hope that Alonso will win, but i suspect that Schumacher will get the points. It's certainly heated things up anyway! I do love a good showdown!

Sadly I have to say Herr Schumacher. I would HATE him to win but Renault want out of F1 and Der Kaiser wants to finish on a high.

Not Schumacher I hope....lets just he stalls his car or,his car has a fault and come to a stop on the last lap on the start/finish straight.
