I already have a google toolbar and it is ridiculous to have 2 toolbars, so I'm asking how to remove the yahoo one. And why did the yahoo toolbar appear by itself on my internet explorer. I definitely did not install it or anything like that. Anyway to prevent it from happening again??

hit start, set program acces and defaults and go to change or remove programs, and uninstall yahoo toolbar.

Open the internet explorer,
then go to the
"view" then "toolbars"
unclick the yahoo toolbar.
It's done. It won't appear anymore.

right click the toolbar (in a blank spot) and uncheck yahoo toolbar

click on the red Y to uninstall. if you would like to keep it but hide it click on VIEW > TOOLBARS > UNCHECK YAHOO TOOLBAR

Also go to Add Remove programs and make sure it is not listed. If it is REMOVE it.
