I hope this is not to throw in someones's face!
A beaut recipe for a banana cream pie,(which is out of the question here in Australia at the moment, due to a cyclone in Queensland, our banana state,) is to make a base, either out of crushed biscuit crumbs & butter, or a sweet short pastry.Dissolve 1 packet of lemon jelly, using only half the amount of water in directions. Mix 3 bananas, few drops vanilla
essence & add jelly mixture. pour into pastry shell & allow to set.
When set, top with whipped cream & serve. YUM!!
