I sincerely hope that journalist are NOT the new wave of Christianity. It is a fact that 90% of journalists are atheists. They get killed in battle because they do not follow the instructions of the military and they stick their necks out too far to get a story or a photo. The Iraqi insurgents do not care who they kill----they even kill their own. If our faith is so weak that we must rely on atheists to fight our battle, then Christianity is in deep trouble. The real battle is spiritual warfare, and this must be fought with prayer and faith in the name of Jesus Christ. No war was ever won on the battle field---they have always been won in the hearts and minds of the victors. Today, we try to fight wars that are spiritually oriented with material weapons. Only Jesus Christ can win the battle against Satan. Our best effort in this war is to pray and be faithful to the commandments of God.

Of course if you believe everything that is said as being the truth without questioning you will be subject to to faith issues because you follow what you are told without any justification.

This can lead you to believe the journalist's point of view as if it were your own.

On the other end, most journalists are qualified and will try to acquire to most information to give a neutral document. But as Nietchze has shown, absolute objectivity is not only possible, in most cases subjectivity will give more factual information.

So the important is to get subjective information from all positions involved.

Of course, this being said, everyone should always at least apply their own judgement to anything they hear or read and not accept it as is because of pure and simple faith if they want to avoid the trap of being told what to think.
