I want to start to make my own web page but dont know how to get started. Please give me any ideas.

you need a webhost (where you can store your files/pages)...there are free hosts (like geocities) or paid hosts. free hosts usually display ads in your pages (which can be annoying)...paid hosts most likely don't
you also need a domain if you want an address of your own (like barrelracegirl.com)...you would have to pay for that domain. a good site to buy domains is godaddy.com.
you need page creator software if you want to design your own pages, unless you know html (which is the main language used for webpage design)...or have someone else do it for you
now, there are alternatives out there...with predesigned layouts/pages etc...like myspace.com
so, it'll depend on what you want to do

I taught myself to make web pages. Here is how I did it.
1) find a web page you like. Pick one that is not too busy. Simple one with a few pictures.
2) chose the menu option to view source.
3) using an HTML web site that shows HTML commands go through the source line by line to figure out how the page you picked works.
4) Modify the page to look like you want it to.
5) Test the page simply by loading it into internet explorer to see how it looks.
6) Once the page is right you can upload it using FTP to your web space at your internet service provider.

Learn designing using Microsoft Frontpage or Macromedia or some other softwares. HTML is the basis.
You can upload freely in geocities.com if you have yahooID to publish you site.
You can find many free webhosting sites.
