I would go with B) The Long Return. It sounds mysterious. It would make people wonder what return, who's returning and why did it take so long for whatever it is to return. In order to get answers, they would have to read.

A chapter title should be as short and as succinct as possible. It needs to create a hook to grab the reader's attention and drag them into the next chapter.

Return is your power word here and the word alone creates questions the reader will want to answer.

- Why does someone return?
- Who is returning?
- What are they returning for?
- When are they returning?
- Where are they returning to?

I would suggest D) Return

I'd go with A. It's simple and to the point. The other two make it sound (to me) as if you're trying too hard to sound enigmatic, but they're strange grammatically and sound uselessly flourished.
