We have a saying in Texas that if you don't like the weather then wait a few minutes and it will change. That is true. The months you listed are our "rainy season" but not necessarily our cold season. Bring a jacket, a sweater and a few warm clothes in case we have a freak cold snap. It can be anywhere from 40 to 80 degrees. Usually it is fairly mild and pleasant but we can occasionally have a really cold spell so be prepared.

If you are from a cold climate, sweaters will be fine. Other than that, a light jacket. I have been a Houstonian my whole life. Very rearly does is get below 45. Last Thanksgiving we had to wear light jackets, but on Christmas we had on shorts, and ended up eating dinner outside around the picnic table.
Hope you have a blast while here!

Cool & Dry...
It may have fallen down below freezing no more than a dozen
times early mornings during those 4 months last year...
I live in Houston..

It wouldn't hurt to take some sweaters and jackets. On Christmas Day in 2004, it actually snowed here in Houston.

This link on averages (highs and lows too) is helpful :-)
