Yes, but your doctor will probably monitor you pretty closely given your history. But forewarned is forearmed, as they say... knowing the risks now means you can take steps early in the pregnancy to avoid pre-eclampsia a second time.

Very possiable, you will just need your doctor to moniter you very close. I had 2 etremely high pre-eclampsia resulting in seizures cause they got out of hand. I went on to have 2 more babies and with a diffrent doctor and soon as I started showing signs of pre-eclampsia I was inducded and put on mag. to help so my blood pressure wouldnt go up or any other troubles. So its very possiable just want to talk to your doctor about close monitoring.

Odds are you can have a normal, healthy pregnancy. I had severe pre-eclampsia my first pregnancy, and not a sign in my second. Good luck to you.

should have given more info. good chance it will recur but it all depends. if it happened late in the pregnancy, it may recur late in the next pregnancy also which is really not that problematic. however, if it happened at say 24-28 wks or so, you are at very high risk of recurrence and other complications. just be sure your next doctor is aware of what happened with this pregnancy and how far along you were when it happened. then they can take the appropriate measures
