try rent.com, apartment guides.com, check the local papers, like the Chicago Sun Times, and the Chicago Tribune, the Reader. Those are some popular papers for Chicago. There lots of beautiful Lofts all over the City on every side of town. It also depends on what your trying to spend.

You may want to take a look at what you're willing to spend for rent and depends on the neighborhood since anything around River North and Gold Coast are expensive and some places in Lincoln Park and Near North are not cheap either. Check out real estate listings for new lofts that are being build for sale or rent since there's a few places that are new and are taking new buyers and it's cheaper to actually buy than rent so you own it so if you move you got yourself a cash cow to generate extra income.

a million. For $2,a hundred a month you may locate the money for a superb loft contained in the downtown section, that includes the Loop, River North and the Goldcoast. surely nevertheless in case you may locate the money for that plenty it truly is beneficial to look neighborhoods like River West, Oldtown, Printers Row, Lincoln Park or perhaps the South Loop...they don't have the touristy feeling which you get downtown. nevertheless if you're going to have a automobile/truck/van to lug all your equiptment around, bear in techniques parking downtown is harder and could value an added $two hundred or so a month. 2. I hate the object approximately Chicago being the homicide capitol of the US this year, it thoroughly skims over 2 considered necessary data...a million. our universal crimerate in line with individual develop into truly low, under towns like Milwaukee, Detroit or perhaps Pittsburgh. 2. The severe homicide value develop into tremendously much solely gang appropriate, in neighborhoods that don't even result existence contained in maximum persons of Chicago, which potential they do no longer seem to be even on the brink of a superb residential community. After that there are to many gyms and eating places to omit... you will locate tremendously much any kind of foodstuff right here in Chicago so it truly is maximum suitable to in easy terms locate some places by potential of asking around or exploring. There are far too many to omit, however the main suitable eating is definitely contained in the neighborhoods.

Just know that the south is cheap but you won't feel very safe if you're a woman and living alone. Also, I think they have websites too, so you can check it out, but "apartment people" and the like are a good way to find a place here. You give them your price range, what area you want to live in, and what you're looking for in general, and they drive you around and find all of the places for you. www.apartmentpeople.com or apartment finders, or apartment savvy

all of these answers are great. one more thing. if you have a chance to visit, go to a local leasing agent. they will take a day and show you the different areas, different places and prices, but they work on commission from the buildings, not you, so all of this info is free. that way, you can tell them your price range, type of area, and what amenities you want and they will come back with a ton of different places.

www.Realtor.com or you can contact a local Realtor and they would be more than happy to email you some listings of lofts that are in your price range (no strings attached... of course). Good luck and welcome to the city!
