A friend's Mother is freaking out and writing letters to the editor's of all the local newpapers asking people to boycott Wal-Mart because Wal-Mart supports gay rights, or something like that. She says you'll go to hell if you shop there, and that you live in sin every time you walk through the doors. She also claims that God will not forgive you for walking into that store. She is hoping to get everyone to stop shopiing there and get the business to go under. Myself, I think this is ludicris. Who cares if Wal-Mart supports the gay communities of this world? I go to there because I can afford to go there; their prices aren't outrageous; and I do not believe I will go to hell for shopping there! I know God will understand that I am poor! lol
What do you all think about this? Do you think she's a crazy old bat too? (and by the way, she'd ALWAYS hollaring about something like this all the time!) It gets really annoying! Tell me all your thoughts because I would like to know!

Yeah I agree with you.God made Wal-Mart to help out us broke people. With the way prices are going up in stores Wal-mart is the only one I can count on.Besides I don't have anything against gays I really don't care if Wal-Mart does support them I go there to shop for food not look at who they support.I think that lady is crazy Wal-Mart is one of the best places to shop for food. She is missing out on the low prices.

Although I doubt that anyone will go to Hell just for shopping at Walmart, it is certainly a shame that a company like Walmart that was founded by a Christian man, has now gone to the dogs (so to speak), by supporting the gay agenda. Your mother'fs friend was right--it is happening now. I heard something about in church this morning. While it's true that Walmart is a great place to shop, they have gone too far this time. Anyone that is supporting gay rights is against God, and will ultimately bring itself it to financial ruin. I'm sure some people may not be aware of what's going on, but if they are, they need to shop elsewhere. Homosexuality is a sin, and supporting that sort of thing will bring God's judgement down upon us all. By the way, please check your spelling--you need to correct a few words.

Wal-Mart is based out of Arkansas by a middle class white man named Sam Walton and I dont think to many white men from the south support gay rights, seeing as Christianity is so prevalent in the south. But Wal-Mart,as in most corporations, want to stay neutral when it comes to topics like gay rights, abortion etc. They'd take a chance of pissing to many people off which would mean bad press and they dont want bad press, that means less shoppers and less profit. They probably dont support gay rights secretly, but would never come out and say it.

God loves everyone but only those who have excepted him will have eternal life. This going to hell for shopping in a store that supports gay rights is foolish and the lady has gone way over board I think, and people like her give those of us that do believe in God a bad name because I don't do foolish things like she is doing.

as you sow you reap. you sow into walmart and you can bet your $ or a portion of it will go to support what God calls an abomination. i didn't say that but the creator of all humanity did. so you judge for yourself. no God isn't going to send you to hell for shopping at walmart and no you don't have to boycott but where you put your $ is in essence what you support. it is about holiness and being a lover of God. not about $, or cheep stuff. God may understand you are 'poor' as am i but as Jesus says, your heavenly father knows what you need and will meet your needs. seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things will be added to you. Your father in heaven will look after meeting your needs if you put him first. even cheep stuff.

your friends mom may not be going about it the right way but she is seeking Godliness. but you wont go to hell for it. it is up to you. but know that what you sow into you reap. if you sow Godliness you will reap a fantastic relationship with the man Christ Jesus who is seated at the right hand of God for all eternity. live for eternity not today.

be at peace.
