No. To me that equates with weakness. I wouldn't marry a man like that.

Shyness is just one of the many aspects of a person's character, and is not a very determining factor to a successful married life. This shyness may at the most linger in him only where many ladies are present, or he has to face a lady for the first time. If he has other qualities that make up very well for this shyness, it should not matter at all. And ironically, there was a time when shyness in a woman was a creditable and rare jewel in her admirable qualities, now not even considered as a positive aspect ! May be the lady who weds such a person can draw inspiration from this quality unique only to humans !

He's not too shy to propose....he's not ready, or willing, to propose. If the two of you have been seeing each other long enough to think about marriage, his shyness has all but disappeared.....he's just not ready. Wait until he is, or move on. Good Luck!!

The real question is have you talked about marriage with him? If you don't know how he feels than why be worried about him being to shy to ask.

It doesn't sound like someone who's meant for you, just someone who you're settling for, which means he's probably settling for you. So either accept him for who he is, or really decide if you two are truly compatible. "Love the one your with" is not always good advice.
