Breastfeeding is what nature intended and the ideal food for your baby. You have to feel comfortabke with it however, or you will not be able to successfully nurse.
But looking at the benefits, breastmilk is perfect and made just for your baby, it's FREE, your baby always gets exactly the amount she needs with no leftovers, no bottles to wash, nothing to mix or warm- and this comes in handy for those 5am feedings, breastmilk provides the antibodies for your baby's immune system, most breastfed babies have fewer allergies, and then there is also the closeness and special bonding knowing that you are personally providing your baby with what she needs.
At the least, it's better to breastfeed for the first few days so baby can have the colostrum that is so rich in nutrients and antibodies!
Most bottle-fed babies do well and it doesn't mean your child will be unhealthy if you choose formula. It can get expensive, but it's easier, you know exactly how much food your child is taking in, you don't have any issues with nosy-bodies when you feed in public, and you don't need a breastpump for making bottles for the sitter.
You need to choose what YOU feel is best for your baby and if your friends are making fun of you, they're probably just jealous. I have large breasts also, and I didn't care. All 4 of my kids are/were breastfed babies.

I think that is something you have to decide for yourself. I have had four kids and with the first two I breastfed and with the last two I chose to bottlefeed. If I ever have another child I think I will bottlefeed also. If the baby is premature I would breastfeed, but that is the only circumstance when I would say you really NEED to breastfeed. I found that my youngest two babies gained weight quicker and were all around happier babies. I really thinks its because with the breastfeeding they were hungry all the time and just couldn't get filled. But I know some women breastfeed and have no problems at all.

The nutrient's of a mother's milk is definitely better than the store bought stuff. Formula is generally filled with all this fake stuff, and I think natural is better. I was reading somewhere that formula is just a scam though. Some researchers say it is better to feed formula just so they can mooch money off of you! It's all advertising. I personally would breastfeed instead, but you do what you want.

Study after study show that breastfeeding has far more benefits than formula. Do a quick Internet search to see for yourself. You'll get all sorts of women who say that they didn't breastfeed and their babies turned out fine. The same can be said for women who smoke throughout the pregnancies as well. It's simply a matter of how much you're willing to do for your baby even if it means having to give something up for yourself (like nipples that aren't sore, lol).

Breastfeeding is a wonderful way to bond with your child and to offer them the best possible nourishment. It provides them with lots of protection from illnesses. It's also free, always warm, extremely handy, and it has been proven that women that breastfeed have a lower occurance of breast and ovarian cancer. I'd say that having a friend that wants to make fun of your larger breasts is pretty immature.

Accually if you can do both it's great for the baby not only to bond with you but if you leave your child with a care giver it's use to taking a bottle.
plus depends on how big your chest is sometimes breast feeding helps to shrink them a little not a lot but makes them look and feel smaller.
so best of luck don't worry about what others say it's up to you and how you feel .

Nature designed human milk especially for human babies, and it is the ideal food for your baby's first several months. Your breast milk contains just the right balance of nutrients, and it contains them in the form that is most easily used by the human baby's immature body systems. Because it was developed for your baby, your milk also is gentlest on your baby's systems.
Breast milk is rich in the nutrients that promote brain growth and nervous system development. Of course, it is also the perfect first food to help your human baby achieve every aspect of ideal growth and development.
Furthermore, if you are indeed concerned about your baby's health, i think breastfeeding is the best option. nothing can be a substitute to what the nature has created. it has given you the milk to feed your baby, therefore its better to do so.

For the best health of your baby, breastfeed! You will feed her not only complete nutrients, but will strengthen her immune system as well. Not to mention the close bonding that it creates.
Maybe you should get new friends, too.

Personally I would LOVE to breastfeed, but due to my breast implants I cant... breastfeeding is better for your baby, but either way it will be fine, its just what is more comfortable for u.. you could get up and warm the bottle every time, or you could whip your tit out... ha .. boobie is much easier!!!
