In the game Pokemon mystery dungeon red rescue team how do you make the 3 legendary birds you friends?

you can't do it the first time you fight them, but i have a feeling that you already know that

after you have found out why your human turned into your main character pokemon in the first place, you can go back to those areas and fight them again.

since your group can hold no more than six stars worth of room, and all three legendary birds are 4 stars in size, you can have no more than 2 stars size in your group in the first place.

even then, it will be hard to do it. it took me 9 tries to get zapdos.

i was a level 33 crobat, and i finally was able to recruit the level 45 zapdos. not easy at all. i had saved at the statue, so that it would only be two floors til i got to zapdos, then when i beat him, if he didn't join, i just restarted to try again

fight and defeat them once. then defeat raquaza and wait for the credits to roll. go back to Thunder mountain, Mt. blaze, and the frosty forest and defeat them again. remember: THEY ARE STRONGER THAM THEY WERE BEFORE! u have to only have either 2 one star pokemon or 1 two star pokemon (the stars meaning size. check their info) in order to recruit it. there is a chance it will join but not a big chance. u also have to have a special friend area for them to live in so get all the areas on the list!

first you have to beat them the first time. then you have to complete 3 other events after beating the main storyline. which is beating rayquaza. then you have to go back and battle them again in the order you did the first time. you can only have a one star or two star Pokemon on your team.
