I think its originally by a ska band, and it's sang at football matches, but I'm not sure which side specifically. its instrumental. its really catchy. and i know this isnt much help but its like...
"du durrrr de dur...du durrr de duu....du durrr de duh....du dur de der do..."

actually Tony T, its most definatly not MOTD.
nor is it the wedding march.
and it may seem like a stupid question, but its been stuck in my head for about a year. maybe longer.

I can't believe i actually know what song you mean!
"Champions League, you're havin' a laugh! Champions league, you're havin' a laugh!"
it is a ska/punk song from the 70's or early 80's and i thought it was buster bloodvessel's group but the more i think about it i think it was a one-hit-wonder, can't remember exactly. It was a question in our pub quiz ad no-one in the whole pub knew it!
good luck

Maybe it's Gary Glitter's Rock n' Roll part 2?
It's on yahoo music.
I think they are banning this song following his conviction for sexual offenses.

If it is instrumental, how is it sang at football matches? Why don't you go to the match where u heard it, and ask someone what it is?

The words to the second line are "You're havin' a laugh", if that helps.
